Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the difference between the LVT HOA, the April Sound HOA and the Country Club?
The LVT HOA is required by all condo owners. The assessments are used for maintaining the community. The April Sound HOA is optional for owners. Being a member of April Sound allows you to access the larger community amenities, such as the dog park, playgrounds and access to a permanent guest list and automatic access via the gated entrance. The Country Club is a separate optional membership. This allows access to the country club (has a gym), the pool, golf course and the tennis courts.
2. How are assessment rates determined?
Annual assessment rates are determined by the annual budget set and the percent ownership per unit, which is set in our governing documents. The ownership rate is based on the square foot of each unit.
3. Why are only certain parking spots covered?
A few years ago, the HOA asked owners who wanted parking spots to pay a one time fee for construction and also an added monthly maintenance fee. This was entirely optional and the units that have the spot covered participated.
